Furniture Design, Building and Project Carpentry
My work harnesses the natural beauty of raw and reclaimed wood from felled trees that have been salvaged around Vancouver. I build bespoke furniture and statement pieces that become a talking point of any room. Functional, yet not forgetting the fantasy, each project is designed around both the wood itself and the requirements you have for it.
Whether it is creating artisanal, live edge shelving for your books, hand-crafted lighting fixtures, barn wood tables, or even full scale carpentry builds, I am here to help you achieve the ideas you have for your home or office. There is always a way to make the crazy a reality, so why not bring a bit of local nature back into your every day with some wood that is revived once again.
How i Work
My goal is to only use reclaimed wood or lumbar from trees that have been naturally or sustainably felled. Nothing will be sourced from the proceeds of commercial logging.
I will suggest wood types and finishes that work best with the furniture you are looking for, but also those that work best to show off the wood itself, in its most natural form. I want these pieces to be handed down and last a lifetime. All the hard work is invested up front, with quality materials and attention to detail.

I’m josh!
I am a self-taught wood craftsman who has followed a passion towards being creative with natural products, that highlight the realities of where they came from. My aim is to enable people to maintain the respect for the trees through a true showcase of the wood they provide.

My aim is to build unique pieces of furniture that are cost effective so that more people can enjoy access to the natural wood products of BC.
